The lot includes a series of the periodical *Bollettino d'Arte* with issues 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 18, 29, 40, 44, 56, 64, 65, 70, and 88. Notable works of fiction and non-fiction include Elias Canetti’s *Auto da Fe*; Richard Seewald’s *Die Zeit befiehlt, wir sind untertan* (Herder); Charles Dickens, *The Pickwick Papers*; and Elena Salvini Pierallini, *Esprimere il tempo* (Morgana). There are also design and antiques magazines such as *AD Architettura Design* and *Gazzetta Antiquaria*. On the top shelf is an antique volume with a plain binding and no spine. The Award Compact English Dictionary is bound in red and black. Most of the volumes are in paperback or hardcover with cloth binding.
