The cover design was created by Daniel Mróz, a Polish graphic designer, illustrator, set designer, and draftsman. He was a long-time contributor to the graphic design of the weekly magazine *Przekrój* and the creator of book covers and illustrations. He is best known for his illustrations for the works of Stanisław Lem, particularly *The Cyberiad* and *Fables for Robots*, as well as for the works of Sławomir Mrożek, Franz Kafka, and Jules Verne.
