Oil, canvas; dimensions: 29 x 49.5 cm; signed left bottom: A. Setkowicz; framed work. Genre scene, typical of the artist's work, referring to the compositions of Jozef Brandt or Julian Fałat. It is particularly noticeable in the depiction of the life of the rural population. Horse-drawn carriages (waiting to set off to church at dawn, presumably. In a snow-covered landscape, by a cottage with a high thatched roof, by a wicker-woven fence, men wait for women to set off. The artist also returned to this theme in watercolors; the oil version is rarer.
