Biography
A graduate of the Magdalena Abakanowicz University of Arts in Poznań with a degree in architecture (2022). During her studies, she developed her painting skills, drawing on traditional techniques while exploring new means of expression. After graduating, she began working as a set and costume design specialist at the Grand Theater in Poznań, where she combined her artistic sensibility with practical theatrical experience. In her work, she draws inspiration from landscapes, nature, and space—often employing synthetic perspectives. Chain stitch embroidery plays a key role in her work—the straight stitches give the surface of the image a relief that creates shadows that vary depending on the angle and intensity of the light, introducing an element of constant transformation into the image. Musical inspirations also play an important role for her, particularly the graphic notation of sheet music. The artist also draws on her Greek roots, finding in her own heritage a source of creative inspiration and a motif for her artistic explorations.
