ӨLEG spent his entire childhood in the small town of Storebө, where he spent hours observing the sea and Norwegian coastal nature. He studied at the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Oslo. After graduating, he returned to his hometown, where he still devotes himself to art based on his love of nature. In his work he moves in the realm of abstraction inspired by the flora and fauna of the Norwegian fjords. He often uses motifs of algae, sea urchins, sea snails. His works are characterized by strong contrasts and great dynamics of forms and composition, which in terms of colors, patterns and textures is balanced and balanced. This creates a sense of pleasant surprise when interacting with his works.
ӨLEG uses collage in his works, and various painting media (acrylic paints, oil paints, oil and dry pastels, markers).
