Marina Chaykovskaya - was born in 1963 in Kazakhstan. She is a graduate of architecture at Kazakh State Agrotechnical University, where she earned an engineering degree in 1989. That same year, she began working as an architect. However, after three months, expecting a child, she decided to put her career on hiatus. This period proved to be very valuable for the artist. Having a lot of free time at her disposal, she began to create: paint, draw, prove herself in various forms of artistic expression. She then discovered that this was the occupation that brought her the most satisfaction and fulfillment. In 1999 she became a teacher of drawing, and from 1997 to 2009 she taught artistic composition and computer graphics at Kostroma State Technological University. At the same time, the artist did not stop creating, perfecting her workshop and using diverse painting techniques. She began holding her first exhibitions in 2006, and her works could be admired at Kostroma University and at local art galleries, where, among other things, she was one of the authors of the exhibition titled. "Painters of Kostroma."
In 2009 she moved to Poland, her husband Anatol's native country. The move resulted in an even greater development of her work, which was gaining a wider and wider circle of fascinated viewers. Subsequent exhibitions of Marina Czajkowska took place in Lower Silesia - where she settled with her family. The artist's works could be admired in Wroclaw, Trzebnica, Oborniki Slaskie or Walbrzych in thematic exhibitions, showing her personal, original style, certainly distinguished from other local artists.
The artist's world is multicolored, full of emotions, symbolism and hidden meanings. The artist paints in the trend of abstractionism and symbolism, approaching each work with special care and the necessary inspiration. She says of her works: "My works are like a reflection in which you can see yourself." Using a variety of styles - from acrylic painting on canvas to authorial techniques - she creates unique, ambiguous works of art, opening the viewer up to their own interpretation. Her favorite motif is oneiric angels. The author believes that every person has a guardian angel who is closest to his or her feelings, fears and pleasures. The works also include the motif of architecture, often sacred, as well as the motif of the cat - the artist's favorite four-legged friend. When creating, Marina Czajkowska particularly values manifesting sincerity, showing all of herself, her personality and energy, which translates into the uniqueness of the works.
