"Moon Mission Pup" unique sculpture by The PopArtPrincess is a sculpture whose base is inspired by Jeff Koons' aesthetic, made of ceramic, acrylic and glass crystals, which is characteristic of the artist's art.
The blue, richly decorated "doggie" refers to "Moon Mission I" by Copernic Space, NASA and Firefly aerospace, which sent art to the Moon.Maja chronicled this mission by creating a collection of art commemorating the various steps of the mission. Also visible in the sculpture is Lady Rocket (who has the first recorded art gallery in space) , posing with her painting The PopArtPrincess, which she presented at the Kennedy Space Center in February 2025.
The sculpture is part of the artist's space narrative.
In June 2026, the work of The PopArtPrincess will fly to the moon as part of "Moon Mission II."
