COAT OF ARMS OF THE KALISZ PROVINCE.

Chromolithograph on a card with a description in Russian. Dimensions: 30 x 21.5 cm. (late 19th century)
The coat of arms was approved by Emperor Alexander II on February 25, 1869. The coat of arms depicts, on a French shield with a blue field, a white lamb flanked by two golden ears of grain. The shield is surmounted by an imperial crown; on either side of the shield are golden oak leaf branches entwined with the blue ribbon of the Order of St. Andrew. 
Slight tears along one edge, slight soiling. Good condition. 10602/9
