Hugo BOETTINGER (1880-1934).
He was a Czech impressionist and a sought-after portraitist of the upper classes. He painted female nudes, humorous drawings and caricatures, known to the general public as Dr. Dezyderius. Boettinger's drawings, mostly portraits, were exceptionally popular and were exhibited and published many times during his lifetime.
