Polski Lloyd is a licensed freight forwarding and customs brokerage company that also handles international and maritime transport, as well as freight insurance. It operated in Poland throughout the interwar period, beginning in the early 1920s. In addition to offices throughout the country, it also maintained foreign representative offices in New York, Vienna, Paris, Berlin, and Basel.
This issuer’s numerous issues, featuring a consistent design but with varying color schemes, are an interesting and popular collector’s item. They are rarely found on the market.
