Stefan Lechwar

Diploma from the Faculty of Graphic Arts, Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow - branch in Katowice, 2001. Since 2003, lecturer at the Silesian University, Institute of Art in Cieszyn; since 2006, assistant professor. Lecturer at the Art Institute of the University of Opole, 2012 - 2013.

Works with design and art graphics, painting and illustration.

Co-author (together with Izabela Wądołowska) and director of the play "Mu", based on traditional aesthetics AND philosophy of Japan (premiere at Teatr Mały in Tychy, 2007), presented at several reviews, theater festivals, and exhibitions. Scholarship holder of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage (realization of the project "Poland's Poster DAMAGE"), 2009. Member of the Association of Applied Graphic Designers.

Participated in more than 40 solo exhibitions and more than 100 group exhibitions at home and abroad: USA, Japan, China, South Korea, Iran, Turkey, Russia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, France, Scotland, Finland, Italy.
