Carved and gilded wooden shelf in the Italian Baroque style, 52x54 cm
This wall-mounted console table is crafted from carved wood with a gilded finish. The top features a serpentine shape and is made of wood painted with a marbled effect. The edge of the top is molded and rests on a frieze decorated with a beaded motif. In the center of the frieze is a decorative leaf-shaped shell motif. The console is supported by two cabriole legs, heavily carved with acanthus leaf motifs, volutes, and scrolls, which end in scroll-shaped feet.
