A rare medal with the image of Augustus II the Strong's illegitimate child, Maurice of Saxony.
Maurice was the nominal duke of Courland and Semigallia, marshal and commander-in-chief of French troops in the War of the Austrian Succession, fought between Prussia, France, Spain and Bavaria and Austria Saxony and Sardinia between 1740 and 1748.
