Serial number (15828) 89353, the side-by-side black Krups barrels of identical 16/65 caliber are marked "GUST. SILENT/MUCH. OSTRAU". Barrel length 68 cm. Trial marks from the Austro-Hungarian (Vienna) and later Czechoslovakian periods. Cartridge case extractor, double hook, Purdey (Purdeynase) tapa breech. Double trigger. Safety behind the bolt handle, with gold-tauze inscription "SAFE" visible at the safety. Test marks repeated on bascule, system with Holland & Holland side locks marked "GUST. SILENT/MOIST. OSTRAU" and all metal parts are decorated with rosettes, fine arabesques and marginal engraving, the locks with gold-tauze warning strikers in the form of arrows. The walnut stock is stained with herringbone, the pistol grip, the cheek piece. Austria-Hungary, early 20th century, length 110 cm. Double barrel underlug lung lock and rib extension with 'Purdey nose', ejector. Double trigger, sliding safety - the gold-inlaid 'SAFE' is visible when the safety is engaged. Color-hardened receiver with 'Holland & Holland' sidelocks, blued trigger guard and key engraved with border engraving, rosettes, arabesques, and rose bouquets. Lock plates with gold inlaid arrow as cocking-indicator. Oiled walnut stock with pistol grip, checkering, German cheekpiece, and sling swivel. Austria-Hungary, early 20th century, length 110 cm.
