Elżbieta Klimczak has been a member of the Folk Artists’ Association since 1984, specializing in clay sculpture and pottery.
She showed an interest in folk art as early as childhood, observing the work of her father, Stefan Sowiński—a well-known folk artist in the Kielce region.
She is a winner of folk art competitions; she primarily participates in the “Civitas Christiana” Religious Folk Art Competition in Kielce, where she has received top prizes. She collaborates with the Kielce Village Museum, “Civitas Christiana” in Kielce, and the Pottery Museum in Chałupki, where she leads workshops on the potter’s wheel. She has participated in numerous competitions for contemporary sacred folk art.
