Catalog of the exhibition of metal products organized by the Museum of Industry and Agriculture in Warsaw in 1895. Warsaw, 1895. Published by the Museum Office, p. 38 (advertisements), 146, 160 (advertisements), 20 cm, original paperback cover.
From the library of Władysław Alojzy Strzembosz (1875–1917), curator of the Polish Library in Paris (stamp). Both the main content of the publication and the accompanying advertisements constitute an excellent source for the history of Polish metal industry and crafts in the late 19th century. The Museum of Industry and Agriculture in Warsaw, founded in 1875, was the largest museum of the history of technology in Poland until World War II. It was destroyed, along with most of its collections, during the defense of Warsaw in September 1939. The front cover is loose; the cover has cracks and creases.
