Edyta Jaracz, born 1967 in Glubczyce. Studied 1989-1994 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Diploma in 1994 in the easel painting studio of Prof. Lucjan Ząbkowski. Specialization in book illustration. The artist participated in individual and collective exhibitions. In 1995, she won second place and a silver medal at the National Painting Biennial Bielska Jesien. Her works are in private collections, in Poland, Germany and Switzerland.

'Ms. Edyta Mirga-Jaracz is a painter of undoubted talent. She has an original, her own attitude to the world, expressed in the form of a lyrical, peculiar fairy tale. It is like a story about a better world, where sleep, joy and the desire for brotherhood of adults with children and fauna as "lesser brothers" reign supreme. At times, the artist's painting gives a reminiscence of Chagall's art, but caught up in the ancient charm of the world of Greco-Mediterranean antiquity.'
