Marcus von May Born in 1970, he has been interested in painting since early childhood; he is a visual artist, poet, and seeker of meaning. He approaches life with almost philosophical precision, breaking away from conventions and seeking his own means of artistic expression. His paintings are surreal journeys into the farthest recesses of the imagination, a sense of truth, and unbridled streams of thought. In his work, he uncovers the truth about figures, objects, and landscapes, into which he weaves his surreal visions. He excels at portraiture, highlighting the character of the figures he paints. Marcus Von Maya’s paintings possess a considerable degree of detachment and humor, which are appreciated by collectors both in Poland and abroad.
