Tadeusz Kuduk
Born on October 20, 1935 in Trzebuska in the Rzeszow region. He attended elementary and high school in Sokolow Młp., Lancut, Rzeszow and Krakow, and graduated from the State Higher School of Theater in Warsaw.
He received his diploma in 1961.
He has been a member of the Association of Visual Artists since 1969.
Until 1983, he was simultaneously engaged in visual art and acting. At present, he is only active in visual arts, focusing especially on painting in all techniques and drawing. Occasionally, he realized theatrical stage design. To date, he has participated in more than 90 group presentations and has realized more than 25 premiere solo exhibitions at home and abroad.
The artist's works are in museums and private collections at home and abroad, including in :
- in the National Museum at the Castle in Lublin where in 2017 an exhibition was held on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of creative work entitled REMINISCENCJE
and in the collections of:
- Christin Eckert in Nenzlingen (Switzerland),
- Anna Kisielewska-Borek in New Jersey,
- Udo Windisch in Kaarst (Germany)
- At the Directorate for the Restoration of the Wawel Royal Castle
- Hotel "Holiday Inn" in Cracow.
In 1995, a film about Tadeusz Kuduk's work was made for TVP.
Taduesz Kuduk is the recipient of 18 awards, honors and medals in the field of painting and drawing.
The most important of these are:
First prize in the National Competition for Gobelin Designs for the Castles of Southern Poland (Cracow, Palace of Art, 1978);
The main equal prize and a medal named after him. Kaplar Miklos at the International Painting Plein Air (Hungary, 1980);
Prize for the painting "Every Priest" in the Diocesan Plastic and Literary Competition (Lublin, 1983); main equal prize in the 2nd All-Poland Watercolor Triennial (Lublin, 1987);
First prize in the 2nd All-Polish Painting Contest "Polish Impressions"(Torun 1987);
Second prize and medal in the All-Polish Drawing Contest "Environmental Protection" (Suwałki 1988);
First prize in the National Painting Contest "Woman" (Piotrkow Trybunalski 1988).
