Biography
Initially educated at the Higher School of Music in Lublin. Then at the Faculty of Interior Design and Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, from which he graduated in 1954 and 1959. He worked at the Institute of Industrial Design, and since 1973 has headed the Department of Experimental Textile at the Faculty of Painting. In 1983, he is appointed professor. At the same time, he works at the Faculty of Arts and Pedagogy at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, the College of Applied Arts in Poznań. He has repeatedly presented his work at home and abroad, including the 1st - 4th International Biennale of Textiles in Lausanne (1962 - 1973), the 8th and 9th Art Biennale in Sao Paulo (1965 and 1971).
