Biography
A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Kraków University of Technology and the High School of Fine Arts in Tarnów, where she majored in Artistic Weaving. She returned to painting in 2014, focusing on creating oil paintings on canvas. In her work, she has developed a unique painterly language situated at the intersection of figuration and abstraction, where a geometric synthesis of forms meets a subtle reference to reality. Drawing inspiration from classical still life, she constructs compositions of interpenetrating planes, rhythms, and subtle color relationships, consciously simplifying form to its most essential elements. Subtle references to Cubism serve as a starting point for creating contemporary compositions in which light, space, and proportions play just as important a role as the subject itself. A subdued color palette, soft tonal transitions, and a balanced composition lend her paintings an atmosphere of tranquility, harmony, and timelessness. She lives and works in Poland, near Kraków. Agnieszka Krawczyk’s paintings are found in private collections in Poland and abroad, including the Konik Kreatywny Collection and the Wiącek Collection.
