Jacek ŁYDŻBAur. 1966 WłoszczowaPainter, graphic designer, in 1985-1989 studied plastic education at the Czestochowa Academy of Fine Arts, where he currently works. He continued his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating from the Faculty of Graphic Arts. Diploma with honors in the poster studio of Prof. Maciej Urbaniec in 1989. Nominated for the "Passport of Polityka" in 1999. He participated in more than 30 group exhibitions and had numerous individual exhibitions. He is a member and founder of the Regional Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in Częstochowa. He is a painter who grew out of the tradition of the Polish poster school. That's why his paintings are expressive, strong and clearly communicate their message. On large canvases with spatula-painted backgrounds, we usually see single figures or objects. The figures are often accompanied by head studies, as if the artist is deconstructing his workshop in front of us. Lydžba also makes cycles of stencils and cut-outs, showing in them a decorative sense and a sense of humor that allows him to come close to folk art and the kitsch of urban graffiti.
