Michal Gątarek (Born 1985). Graduate of the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, majoring in painting. Diploma in the studio of Prof. Aleksander Dymitrowicz (2010). Erasmus scholarship holder at École Nationale Supérieure d'Art in Bourges (France, 2008/2009). The subject of his works is mainly man and his relationship with the environment. In addition to painting, he is also involved in music. He lives and works in Wroclaw.
Winner of an honorable mention in the 1st Art Biennale of Young Wroclaw and participation in the post-competition group exhibition at Impart gallery, Wroclaw (2011). He received a qualification to participate in the International Art Workshop in Pienkowo (2010). In 2015, he received the Second Prize of the Marshal of the Silesian Voivodeship at the Biennale "Bielska Jesień 2015". He is a three-time participant in the charity auction of the Samsung Art Master competition (3rd, 4th and 5th editions).
