KEJTER61
So, the dog from Poznań is a street artist who roams the city at night, hiding his yellow bones. Ever since he was a puppy, he’s shown an interest in painting and drawing, which he developed under the guidance of numerous behaviorists. Since 2003, his favorite toy has been a can of spray paint.
He draws inspiration primarily from a dog’s life: freedom, absurdity, routine, and the need to do things his own way. He looks at an empty space and sees a place that’s just begging to stop being boring.
Sometimes Kejter also takes a peek at music, classical works, and symbolism, as in his paintings inspired by the works of M. Ravel. However, he still does it his own way. Instead of sitting stiffly in a concert hall, he runs in there with muddy paws.
What is his goal?
Kejter’s goal is simple: art should break out of its shell. He wants it to be alive, accessible, and a little rebellious.
His second goal, even more important, is to help animals. He lends them a paw by co-organizing charity events.
