Very nice detail. An attractive piece.
The 5 zloty is the denomination minted in the lowest mintage among all coins of this issue. It amounted to only 22.5 thousand, where 2-gold coins were 7.5 times more, and trojaks were almost 50! A low mintage, especially since after the fall of the uprising the tsarist government tried to withdraw these coins from circulation. Many of them survived only because they were souvenirs of the national uprising and were kept in homes as such.
Variety with a fractional dash in the rim of the reverse.
