Sigismund II Augustus, Half-penny 1560, Vilnius - DVX L/LITV - 2 rosettes - very rare
Fourteenth type of Eagle and sixteenth type of Pogo.
Inscribed variety with the King's titulature on the obverse ending ... DVX L and an obverse inscription on the reverse ending in .... LITV
Punctuation variant with a rosette dividing the obverse and reverse otolith inscription - very rare.
Condition: 2-
Undated otolith, but a nicely preserved piece. Good detail. Gloss and lots of mint mirror. A very rare and underrated variant of punctuation with a rosette in the otolith inscription on obverse and reverse. A very rare coin and very difficult to get on the collector market.
