Very nicely preserved luster. Light shortages in the rim, but a distinctive coin for this type of penny.
The first dated coin minted on Polish soil.
A distinctive issue of the future king of Poland, Sigismund Jagiellon, then Duke of Glogow.
Very interesting iconographically, as it does not refer to the city where it was minted, but to the Crown of the Kingdom of Poland (Eagle) and the Grand Duchy of Lithuania (Pogo). It proclaims in the rim "Sigismund duke of Głogów, Casimir, king of Poland, born.
Variety with a Pogo of type 2A and a 1 in the Roman date , with a bifurcation at the top and bottom.
Rare.
