oil on canvas, 50 x 125 cm, signed and inscribed on the reverse: '[artist's signature] | Stefan Buczek | Title: Terra | Year: 2026 | Medium: Oil | Dimensions: 50 x /25'
Born in Donetsk, he has been based in Warsaw since 2014. In 2024, he graduated with honors from the Master’s program at the Faculty of Interior Architecture of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He developed his artistic skills in the painting studio of Prof. Andrzej Zwierzchowski and the textile studio of Prof. Stanisław Andrzejewski. In his work, he explores the tension between beauty and horror, as well as harmony and destruction. His oil paintings, imbued with a powerful emotional charge, strive toward sublimity and symbolism. The artist is fascinated by the relationship between everyday life and biological microstructures, which translates into a search for unique forms and energies, initially captured in quick sketches.
