The ends of the star; made in the form of rays diverging from the center; alternate with smooth ends covered with blue enamel and limited along the contour of the rim. The smooth ends of the star show the top and bottom of two crossed rockets. In the central part of the order; on a wreath of oak leaves; there is a five-pointed asterisk bordered with a white enamel belt with an inscription around the circumference “For Service to the Motherland in the USSR Armed Forces” and an image of a hammer and sickle below.
