Katarzyna Jerzak (b.1999) deals with easel painting, although she also creates in other techniques (watercolor painting, linocut). She graduated with a degree in Theater Knowledge from the Theater Academy, and is currently studying Psychology. She lives in Warsaw, which is the main subject of her works. She is attracted to the peculiar combination of restlessness and tranquility in the surrounding space, which is a reflection of her personal impressions of the places depicted. In her works she focuses on light and contrast. Her inspiration comes from the cinematic works of David Lynch.
