Door (portal) a symbol for the passage to a higher dimension of consciousness of existence. To the Source of all existence of consciousness from which we came, to which we are going and in which we are. All convictions of the existence of the source are within us in our subconsciousness with which we have more or less contact, insight to feel the unity of the transcendence of existence.

Szymon Łyjak's work deals with the broadly understood spirituality of human beings, their purpose of life in the surrounding reality, his work is based on his own experiences and feelings while contemplating the consciousness of existence. The purpose of the paintings is to raise awareness of the unity of the social organism in which we function.
He presents his compositions in an abstract and figurative manner using observations of contemporary trends in modern art.
