"I feel a strong need to find permanent points of reference, unchanging values, the roots of the civilization in which I grew up. Classical art allows you to live better in this silly world. And I see similar needs in many viewers who are tired of so-called modern art. Emotions should be triggered in the very first contact with a work. I try to use the simple language of meanings and symbols and associations, so that they reach every viewer, without the need to explain in writing what the author also meant.
