Ala Savashevich was born in the city of Stolin, Belarus. She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw. She works and lives in Wroclaw.
In her artistic practice she often refers to the past and its effects, through symbolism, collective and personal stories. From monumental forms to video and performative actions, she explores the limits of her own body.
