A letter from Jan Nowak-Jeziorański to Wojciech Luterk, dated Munich, January 8, 1969. Typed copy with the sender’s handwritten signature—the legendary “courier from Warsaw,” an emissary of the Home Army, and long-time director of Radio Free Europe’s Polish Service. The recipient was a journalist and Warsaw Uprising participant who emigrated from Poland in 1968 with his wife, the painter Janina Jasińska-Luterek. Nowak-Jeziorański asks the recipient to fill out a form and provide information about his travel document, suggesting that he come to Munich for an interview at the station’s expense or meet during his upcoming visit to Paris. He also mentions Borwicz’s positive opinion and the recipient’s meeting with Marian Czarnecki.
