About the Author
The artist gives new life and expression to what to an ordinary passerby may seem like waste. In his actions he combines spatial forms, painting and audiovisual art, often involving the viewer in his own creative space. He is the author of many artistic actions aimed at the contemporary vision of man. The artist realizes sculptures and art projects in various public spaces. His works cross the boundaries of the traditional sculptural form.
The social aspect of expression is the main tool with which the artist describes the artistic challenges around him.
In the sculptor's works, each viewer will find something of his own, as his works, despite a specific theme, do not have an imposed interpretive scenario. Thus, each of them becomes a separate phenomenon that intentionally disturbs the viewer.
He was born in 1965 in Zakopane. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw at the Faculty of Sculpture in 1994, in the studio of Professor Grzegorz Kowalski.
He is the author of many artistic actions focused on the contemporary vision of man. He is a member of the Warsaw district of the Association of Polish Artists and Designers, as well as a co-founder of the Otwarta Pracownia Twórcza Foundation, where he has been active for more than 15 years carrying out nationwide artistic and educational projects.
For several years, as part of the foundation's activities, he has been co-managing one of the few sculpture galleries in Warsaw - K&K Art Gallery
