Vintage glass inkwell
Vintage style glass inkwell, probably dating from the first half of the 20th century (circa 1930s-40s.)Made of thick, faceted pressed glass in an intense green color. The collar and hinged lid are made of brass.
Dimensions: 4 cm x 5 cm x 5 cm
Condition: Good (traces of corrosion at the screw connecting the lid, opening completely functional).
Similar items were a common fixture on desks in the Art Deco style and the interwar period. Many pieces of this type are attributed to European workshops (e.g. French or English) or glassworks from the Czech region.
