Ceramic vase with four ears at the neck

H. 24.5 cm, base diameter 7.5 cm; signed in underglaze impressions: 1256 (model number), C, O(?), gold enamel, numerical marks.
Germany, Dresden, Villeroy & Boch ?, early 20th century.
Vase with ovoid body, rimmed base, narrow neck with attached 4 handles, set on top of the body. Art Nouveau style floral-ornamental decoration, in 4-partite arrangement, including leaf motif in boat-shaped reserves and trail with 3-partite leaf motif.
An analogous piece in the online offer was identified as a product of the Villeroy & Boch manufactory - a subsidiary of Dresden (founded 1856), but the lack of signatures - apart from the identical model number - puts this attribution into question.
