Biography
Illustrator, painter, graphic artist, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, she studied painting with Jan Cybis, graphic design with Tadeusz Kulisiewicz. Two years later, together with her husband Wieslaw Majchrzak, she created a series of illustrations to the Brothers Grimm's Fairy Tales. She collaborated with children's magazines "Płomyk" and "Płomyczek", "Misie" and "Świerszczyk". She illustrated about 90 books by Polish and European writers, including fairy tales by Ch. Perrault, H. Ch. Andersen, Oskar Wilde`, E.T.A. Hoffmann.
