Traditional cuckoo clock from the Black Forest region, dating from the 19th century. The richly carved wooden body is decorated with motifs of oak leaves, hunting trophies and a dominant statuette of a deer with antlers. The dial with Roman numerals and hand-painted details is complemented by a classic cuckoo mechanism that appears at hourly intervals. The clock is driven by a weight in the shape of cones and supplemented by a pendulum with a hunting motif.more photos
