A) Letter on the stationery of the daily newspaper "Kurier Polski", dated 13/7/1966, addressed: Colleague Editor-in-Chief Stanislaw Ziemba in place. Dear Stasiu... [signed] K. Moczarski.
1 page, format 28.9 x 20.6 cm.
Good condition: yellowed paper, small spots, soiling, creases, a tear in the lower margin.
In the body of the letter, the author informs about sending a photo essay by Wojciech Łaski (b. 1945 - well-known photographer and journalist, his photographs were published in such magazines as: "Time", "Newsweek", "Paris Match", "Stern", "Figaro"), for inclusion in "Tygodnik Polski" (an émigré publication, published in 1957-76 in Paris), which was edited by the addressee, Stanislaw Ziemba (1908-1972 - journalist, editor-in-chief of "Dziennik Zachodni" in 1945-47, "Sport and Wczasy", "Panorama Śląska", from 1906 "Tygodnik Polski", member of the Polish parliament in 1957-61).

B) Funeral eulogy by Józef Roman Rybicki (1901-1986 - Home Army officer, co-founder of the WiN Association, classical philologist, social activist, co-founder of the KOR, member of the Social Anti-Defamation Committee) at Kazimierz Moczarski's funeral on 2.X.1975.

Kazimierz Moczarski (1907-1975) - captain of the Polish Army, officer of the Home Army, Chief of the Bureau of Information and Propaganda of the ZWZ-AK, in 1945-56 tortured and imprisoned for his activity in the Home Army, in 1949 he shared a cell with Jürgen Stroop, German criminal responsible for the suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. He described his encounter with J.S. in his reportage "Conversations with the Executioner," excerpts of which appeared in the "Odra" monthly (in 1972-74), the book edition was published after the author's death in 1977). After his release from prison, he worked for publications associated with the Democratic Party (e.g., the daily "Kurier Polski"), cooperated with the Social Anti-Alcohol Committee, and edited the magazine "Problems of Alcoholism."

Rare. Kazimierz Moczarski's only book work was published after the author's death, so autographs can only be found in the form of letters to friends and associates.
