A valuable personal document related to the organization and operation of the Duchy of Warsaw’s army. The 15th Infantry Regiment was formed in 1809 during the Polish-Austrian War, initially as the 3rd Galician-French Infantry Regiment, and by the end of 1809 it was assigned the numbering system in use by the Polish Army. In 1810, its garrison was stationed in Kraków.The document was created at a particularly interesting moment in the reorganization of the Duchy of Warsaw’s army, carried out in 1810 by Prince Józef Poniatowski. It is of a personnel and administrative nature, certifying the end of service for a specific non-commissioned officer. An original military document from the Napoleonic era, directly related to the history of the 15th Infantry Regiment of the Duchy of Warsaw and its organizational period in Kraków. Signs of folding.
