Born in 1945 in Bydgoszcz. In 1971, he graduated from the Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, where he studied under Professor Jacek Żuławski.

From 1975 to 1985, he worked as a set designer and graphic artist at Telewizja Polska in Warsaw, on Woronicza Street. In 1985, he moved to New York, where he worked at the Andre Kolba Gallery and at the Ehrenkratz and Ectat Architecture Company design firm. During this time, he also helped organize the first Polish television program in the United States—the Polish Television Network.

From 2001 to 2007, he moved to California, where he collaborated with a group of painters on Venice Beach in Los Angeles. Since returning to Poland, he has been working as an interior designer and collaborating with auction houses to exhibit his paintings.
