"Through many years of dealing with relief, I am interested in the space of the painting created not only by the introduction of the real third dimension, but primarily as a result of the appearance of the imaginary dimension, created by the depth of the mutual relations of colors. This unreal, self-existent space is the result of the release of light energy. This creates an illusory depth in which the force of gravity disappears. It has no rigid limits, it is fluid, depending on the colors, their relationship to each other, the angle of incidence of light or the reference point. The goal I pursue in my latest works is to
creating an abstract, open space, based on the illusion of colors, imaginary depth. It is the creation of a dimensionless space. It is created in existing relief, on its surface, where the illusion of movement evokes a new dimension, full of vibrations and repetitive rhythms. In contrast, visible space, constructed, limited and described by dimension, is for me dead, devoid of spiritual energy, and therefore incapable of establishing a dialogue with the viewer. In abstract space, everything is alive, pulsating, changing - depending on the point of reference, that is, the angle of view."
