Bartosz Frączek was born in 1974 in Częstochowa. He finished his studies with honors at the Faculty of Arts of the Czestochowa State University (now the Jan Długosz Academy), with a diploma in painting in the studio of Professor Wincenty Maszkowski. In 2009, he received his doctoral degree from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He is currently an assistant professor at the Faculty of Art, Jan Długosz Academy in Częstochowa.
He has been awarded the scholarship of the Mayor of the City of Częstochowa four times. He is the originator of the International Biennial of Miniature Art and curator of many international art exhibitions and symposia. He is actively involved in the dissemination of plastic culture.
He has received many awards and prizes in painting competitions.
He has had more than 75 solo exhibitions and more than 185 group exhibitions.
His works were presented at solo exhibitions in Germany, Sweden, USA, Denmark, Holland, Belgium, Austria, Turkey, Great Britain. He has participated in numerous group exhibitions abroad, including Canada, the USA, France, Iran, China, Sweden.
