Polish painter and graphic artist, graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow
from 1953.While still a student, she began working as an illustrator for Dziennik Polski and Życie Literackie, where she posted drawings illustrating cultural events. From the 1960s-20th century, the theme of meadows and weeds appeared in her work, present in her works until the artist's death, which earned her the nickname "Meadow Queen." Her works have gained recognition and have been presented at nearly 115 group exhibitions
and solo exhibitions, both at home and abroad, and have found their way into museums and private collections around the world, including Australia, France, Denmark, the Netherlands, Japan, the USA, the Vatican and the Canary Islands, among others.
Small in size, the artist's work impresses with its lightness in depicting the motif of a meadow, characteristic of her work, here full of dandelions reminding us of the delicacy and fragility of our lives.
