Gennadiy Tishchenko, a brilliant painter and graduate of the Kharkiv Academy of Fine Arts (1995). His fascination with still life in European painting led him to develop his own style and personal forms of expression. The artist’s paintings are featured in many contemporary art galleries. Tishchenko’s oil paintings radiate a unique light, and their simplified forms create the artist’s fairy-tale world. His work serves as a bridge between the literalism of the Old Masters’ painterly language and the supremacy of form characteristic of contemporary art.
