Biography
Studied aesthetics at the Institute of Philosophy of the UW. At the same time he practiced various fields of art. Already in his student days he became known as a stage artist, one of the luminaries of the genre known as "sung poetry." He has participated in some 3,000 concerts. He won many awards in festivals. As an author, he wrote about 800 songs, many of which became hits performed by leading artists of the Polish stage. He has made numerous recordings, television and radio programs. Author of several books. He is a multiple recipient of scholarships and awards (Japan Foundation Scholarship, MkiSz, Stanislaw Wyspianski First Degree Award, Aleksander Bardini Award, Knight's Cross of Polonia Restituta for outstanding achievements in the field of art).
In the field of artistic activity, he made his debut as an author of satirical drawings and book illustrations, at the same time he practiced easel painting, which has dominated his work for twenty years. He participated in more than a dozen national and international plein-airs, many group exhibitions.
