Basketball players, gymnasts, swimmers... Images of sportswomen are present in the work of Jerzy Nowosielski, for example, in the 1950s, when he painted women with a characteristic type of beauty, prominent thighs and buttocks, with a strong waistline. Similarly, in the presented drawing. Interestingly, the woman in gymnastic attire is accompanied by a man in a suit. An unusual juxtaposition of figures.
