Józef Panfil (born Tomaszów Mazowiecki 1958) - painter. In 1978 he graduated from the State High School of Fine Arts in Lodz, and in 1984 he graduated from the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts in Lodz. In 1987 he received a creative scholarship from the Minister of Culture and Art. From 1986 to 1994 he was a lecturer at the Department of Painting and Graphics at the Higher School of Pedagogy in Piotrkow Trybunalski. Since 2000 he was a lecturer at the European Academy of Arts in Warsaw. A permanent exhibition of Jozef Panfil's work is in the Arkady Gallery in Tomaszow Mazowiecki. Jozef Panfil's works are in the Art Exhibition Office in Piotrkow Trybunalski and Czestochowa, the Museum of Kujawska and Dobrzyńska Land in Wloclawek, the Museum of History of the City of Lodz and the Museum of Contemporary Art in Radom, among others. He has participated in more than 60 group exhibitions in Poland and abroad.
