Juliusz JONIAK (1925-2021)
He was born in Lviv in 1925. Studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts in the studios of J. Fedkowicz and C. Rzepinski. He was a professor at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts. He took part in exhibitions in Berlin, Helsinki, Athens, Montreal and others. He was awarded the prize of the city of Cracow and the highest - the gold medal of the TPSP. He is also an honorary member of the Académie Europeénne des Arts in Paris. His paintings are counted among the current of metaphorical art, which is always based on concrete representation of reality.
